  • IMOR won first prize (golden plaque) of the prestigious challenge eLearning Awards 2007 for the project “Common Values” managed by Rada Mazganska, project manager and IMOR trainer.Competition was organised by European Schoolnet supported by 28 Ministries of Education. Partner organisations of European Schoolnet in organising of the competition were: Young Digital Planet, Intel, Interwrite Learning, Promethean, SMART Technologies, Apple, Michael, Adobe, Belgacom, Microsoft, SIVECO Romania, Telefónica O2 and UPC. Competition topic was ‘Future School Now’. In this challenge competed 563 schools and training providers from EU/EEA countries, EU candidate countries, Switzerland, and Israel where they presented best practice examples in using technology when creating 21 century school.

  • In June 2007 Mimoza Anastoska – Jankulovska, project manager, IMOR trainer and of the founders of IMOR was announced to be Path Finder of iEARN International.
  • IMOR was conducting the activities of the project “Spring Day in Europe 2007 – Schools are Celebrating Europe” for Macedonia. Activities were underlining 50th anniversary of the Rome agreement from where slogan “Together from 1957” was derived.   • IMOR is one of the biggest training providers for teacher training in the Republic of Macedonia. All teacher in-service training programmes submitted by IMOR were accepted by the Commission of the Bureau for Development of Education. In the frameof the Education Modernisation Project in the period November 2006 – September 2007, 700 teachers received in-service training going through IMOR programmes. Also, significant number of educational inspectors from State Educational Inspectorate went through IMOR training. In the period Januaru – November 2008 additional 1200 teachers, pedagogues, physiologists and directors of primary and secondary schools will go through IMOR in-service training programmes.
  • George Lucas Foundation (USA) has high reputation in the area of education. In 2007 for a first time George Lucas Foundation was announcing 12 educators (Daring Dozen – 6 outside USA) that gave significant contribution in education by using ICT. Jove Jankulovski, project manager, IMOR trainer and of the founders of IMOR was declared to be one of the 6 international educators that received this prestigious status for 2007 and was announced to be Digital Peacemaker of the world.
  • IMOR signed agreement in June 2006 with EDC (Education Development Center) for realisation of the project “Telecollaborative projects – new possibilities, widening perspectives”. EDC supported by USIAD is implementing E-schools project in Macedonia.
  • In April 2005, Jove Jankulovski, project manager, IMOR trainer and of the founders of IMOR, was finalist on On-line Shared Learning Award, (Educator outside USA category) organised by Global School Net Foundation.
  • In 2005 and 2006 IMOR trainers were hired by E-schools project in Macedonia (supported by USAID) as master trinaers and school trainers for primary schools and some of the secondary schools.
  • IMOR became Stockholm Challenge Ambassador in 2005.
  • In 2005 and 2006 IMOR worked with British Council in Macedonia on project Youth Tolerance Campaign. This project was supported by European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR).
  • In the frame of Balkan Youth Partnership Program of Balkan Children and Youth Foundation in 2005 IMOR established cooperation with organisation Independent Youth Activities – IYA from Albania.
  • IMOR is the only member of UNESCO’s Info Youth network from Macedonia and one of the few Balkan organisations that are members of this network for more than 6 years.
  • IMOR is one of founders and the most experienced organisations of the Coalition of Youth Organisations SEGA (NOW). SEGA has member organisations from whole country.

    Project Building Bridges over Borders by using ICT and Project Based Learning, (http://www.imor.org.mk/programmes/bridges) was:
    • Finalist in education category on Stockholm Challenge Awards, Stockholm, (http://www.challenge.stockholm.se)
    • Finalist in category of youth on age of 18 on Global Junior Challenge, Rome, (www.gjc.it/2002/en/finalisti.asp)
    • Finalist in category New to the Net at Child Net Awards, London, (http://www.childnetawards.org)
  • This success was not encountered by any Macedonian organisation so far.
  • IMOR experts were hired by CRS (Catholic Relief Services) in the frame of "School Connectivity" project to work on on-line collaborative project work and project based learning with secondary school students and educators active in this project.
  • IMOR's expert was hired by UNESCO in development of the pilot programme DigiArts Portal - Youth are creating and communicating for the HIV/AIDS (http://www.digiarts-hiv-unesco.org/index.php).
  • IMOR was offered by ChildNet Academy IMOR's representatives to become on-line mentors for young Internet users and entrepreneurs (http://www.childnetacademy.org/forum/forums.aspx).
  • IMOR is one of the rare NGOs in Macedonia involved in developing of National strategy for youth of Macedonia, in the frames of the project, Youth National Action Plan, financed by Institute for Sustainable Communities
  • Activities in the frame of the Working group Bitola Municipality in drafting Action plan of Bitola Municipality in the sphere of fight against the drug - Bitola, city Without Drug.
  • Activities in the frame of strategic work group of Bitola Municipality in development of Action Plan of Bitola Municipality.
